Job Overview:

We are in search of a proficient and enthusiastic Web Developer Tutor specializing in either PHP or Django to become a part of our team. This role presents a unique opportunity to mentor and guide students in mastering the craft of web development using industry-standard technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Interactive Learning Sessions:

Lead engaging and interactive tutoring sessions focused on PHP or Django web development concepts, principles, and best practices.

2. Curriculum Enhancement:

Collaborate with the curriculum development team to review, enhance, and update existing learning materials, ensuring they align with the latest industry trends and standards.

3. One-on-One Mentoring:

Provide personalized guidance and support to students, addressing their questions, challenges, and concerns related to PHP or Django development.

4. Code Review and Feedback:

Evaluate students' code submissions, offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement, while emphasizing coding standards and efficiency.

5. Practical Projects:

Design, assign, and evaluate real-world projects that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios, fostering hands-on learning.

6. Q&A and Discussion Facilitation:

Foster a collaborative learning environment by leading group discussions, Q&A sessions, and code walkthroughs to deepen students' understanding.

7. Stay Current:

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PHP or Django, web development tools, frameworks, and best practices, and integrate these insights into tutoring sessions.

8. Performance Tracking:

Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular reports on their skill development and suggesting additional resources as needed.

9. Student Engagement:

Encourage active participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students to enhance their learning experience.

Requirements:

1. Proven Expertise:

In-depth knowledge and practical experience in PHP or Django web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing projects or applications.

2. Teaching and Communication Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.

3. Patience and Empathy:

Patient and empathetic attitude towards students' learning journey, adapting teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.

4. Bachelor's Degree:

A degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

5. Teaching or Tutoring Experience:

Prior experience as a tutor, mentor, or instructor, particularly in a web development context, is a significant advantage.

6. Collaboration:

Ability to collaborate effectively with curriculum developers, fellow tutors, and other team members to enhance the overall learning experience.

Position Details

Responsibilities

As a Retail Sales Officer at Kolobox, you will:

1. Identify potential customers and manage the end-to-end sales process within our product segments.
2. Develop an in-depth understanding of our existing Fintech customers, identifying growth opportunities.
3. Establish and nurture relationships with customers across various levels, showcasing expertise in the field.
4. Collaborate with Product teams and Account Managers to identify solution gaps for Fintechs and execute sales strategies.
5. Manage the sales pipeline, accurately forecasting deal value and win probabilities.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates should have:

• HND / Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of quota-carrying experience in a new-revenue role
• Proven success in closing complex, high-value deals, with specialized experience in selling Fintech products
• Exceptional prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills, with a consultative sales approach, focused on delivering unique customer value
• Ability to effectively communicate complex solutions to all levels of a Fintech organization
• Interest in financial services products and the ability to build strategic relationships that foster customer success
• Understanding of API functionality, coupled with a quick grasp of Plaid solutions
• Enthusiasm for a high-growth environment, coupled with a solution-oriented mindset
